These terms govern purchases of intelligence reports and licences made directly through theq.institute. Engagement under a separately executed mandate agreement (advisory, briefings, SOC programmes) is governed by that agreement, not by these terms.
Purchases made on theq.institute are made from The Quantum Institute Ltd, registered in the Republic of South Africa, Reg. No. 2025/012641/07, with its registered address in Norwood, Johannesburg, South Africa ("TQI," "we," "us").
theq.institute sells licensed access to TQI's published intelligence reports (for example, The 2027 Board Risk Report, the AI Disinformation & Security Intelligence Series, and the Social Engineering Attack Vectors Report) under the Single Reader, Full Board & Audit Committee, or Enterprise License tiers described on each report's page, and the associated Monthly Intelligence Updates subscription where offered.
This site does not offer, and no purchase made through it constitutes, investment advice, brokerage services, financial-product advice, or any other regulated financial service. Information in TQI's reports is provided for institutional and governance context only and does not constitute investment, legal, or strategic advice. Advisory engagements, briefings, and programme delivery (such as SOC or governance mandates) are contracted separately under a mutual NDA and a signed mandate agreement, not through this site.
No licence tier grants the right to resell, publish, or distribute the report outside the purchasing organisation. Reports remain the intellectual property of The Quantum Institute Ltd.
Prices are listed in USD and charged in South African Rand (ZAR) at the prevailing exchange rate at checkout. Payment is processed by our third-party payment gateway; TQI does not store card details. A purchase is confirmed once payment has cleared with the gateway.

TQI's reports reflect research and analysis believed reliable at the time of publication but are provided "as is," without warranty of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, TQI is not liable for any decision made in reliance on a report, or for any indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from its use.
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa. Any dispute arising from a purchase made on this site is subject to the jurisdiction of the South African courts.
